My stay at W Nashville had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic, surrounded by great restaurants and close to Broadway, which I loved. However, my experience was marred by some service hiccups, especially with the room situation and noise issues.

I was initially given a double queen room without a view instead of the king room I booked. The mattresses in both rooms were saggy and made it hard to sleep. Thankfully, after some discussion, I got the original room I wanted, and it was much quieter. Overall, the room setup was chic but lacked the comfort I expected.
Service
5.0
While some staff were friendly, I encountered moments where the reception staff were not very helpful. On arrival, they wouldn't lend me a charger for my iPhone, and I had some trouble addressing the room mix-up. The manager did resolve it eventually, but the initial interactions could have been better.

The location is a highlight. It's situated beautifully in the Gulch, making it easy to explore amazing local restaurants and the vibrant atmosphere of Broadway. I felt safe and enjoyed the scenery.

I had a decent breakfast with good quality food and service. The restaurant itself was nice, but I wished there were more options in the minibar and that pay-per-view movies were available.

The hotel has great amenities like room service and a rooftop bar with fantastic views. However, the pool scene was a letdown for me, as it was too crowded and noisy, which defeated my intention for relaxation.

I originally booked a Lovely King Room with a City View, but ended up in a double queen without a view. Thankfully, after discussing my concerns with management, I got moved back to a King room. However, the mattresses were saggy and made it hard to sleep well.

I had a mixed experience at W Nashville. The location was fantastic, surrounded by great restaurants and close to the action, but I faced some issues with my room assignment and service when I checked in. While the restaurant was excellent, I was disappointed with the noise from the bar above my first room and the mattress quality overall.

However, I did encounter some hiccups, particularly with the room assignment and noise issues that briefly marred my experience.
